Yes ok but two bars in one go?????????? Y'day I noticed it went down two bars in 32 kms as compared to 45 kms at last refill :'(. I use AC continously.

Brief stuttering is the trade mark of 1KR-FE engine. Live with it...

To replace / clean fuel filter, you will have to open the fuel pump (located under rear seat). So be sure to get it done from someone who knows Vitz well. Fuel pump costs around 40k.

its normal usually the upper bars remains lit for a longer period ... get your fuel tank full then you'll know what I am trying to say ...

Thanks. I always prefer Caltex but on this last fill since I was in a hurry, the pump I filled fuel from I feel is a shady petrol pump. So will fill next time from my normal station and compare.

the stutter sound u mentioned chuu chuu is NORMAL .. its an indication that ur fuel pump is working FINE!! .. fuel pump will start to weary only if ur SELF takes longer than HALF SELF to start the engine .. i.e. longer self's ... and keep in mind ORIGINAL fuel pump that came with the car, is meant to last WITH THE CAR ... only fuel FILTER might need a change (that too not necessarily) ..

just get ur Cat Converter removed / serviced from TOYOTA ... and u'll b fine.. and use Fuel INJECTOR Cleaners for bettering performance and achieving good milage...
