Vitz or swift?

It's a no brainer!

Swift - Brand new, after sales service+warranty, 1300 CC smooth engine, faster than 1.6 L sedans out there.
Vitz - Old/used locally and abroad, 100 CC good engine, slower than other 1000 CC hatchbacks out there.

Do the maths and weigh the advantages!

in my opinion Vitz or Swift ko darya me phenko, Get a FX
In the price of Vitz or Swift i.e 1million, you can get 8 Excellent FX's
and you can keep all of them for entirely Different Purposes like:
1. Your Personal Car
2. Daily Driven
3. For Groceries
4. For Abusing, Drifting, burnouts etc
5. For your family
6. Keep one in ur drawing room as a Show Piece
7. keep one as a backup
8. and finally gift the last one to me

No offence but!!! FX is the worst car out there.. I dont know what the japenese were thinking .. but they made is soooo smaallll.... They should have made a remote controlled car out of it!!!

Pros.

Fuel effecient (I m having with AC 15 km/L in city & 20km/L on highway)
Very good resale
Full of Features
Air Bags
An extreme pleasure of driving
Good cabin space
reliability (using since 1 year never ever need any work except oil & filter
comfortable ride (atuo transmission)

Cons

Not a driving monster (here Swift takes lead, an ultimate speed monster)
no other cons

Swift Cons as compare to Vitz

poor resale
old liana engine ( New body with old soul)
No airbags
expensive registration (40,000 + and vitz is 10 k )

Pros. as compare to Vitz

Zero meter car
when it comes to acceleration & torque SWIFT is FAST & FURIOUS
An absolute powerful & speed machine

when we talk of cabin space and reliability then howcome vitz being smaller and older has it better than swift?
as far as driving pleasure is concerned... how come a more powerful car is lesser pleasure to drive?
This bro hasnt been to market for long to have claimed swift to have poor resale...

swift i believe is better as it has warranty of two years or 40, 000 kms... cabin is vibration free and soundless.. and trust me.. its such a pleasure to drive it...
vitz isnt a bad option... but when you have the option to go for bigger and new car then why to take risk of getting something whose meter might have been reversed by some thousand kms...

1. girlish engine sound

Its very difficult to find a good vitz out there ,because in Pakistan you can expect anything from a used car. Also vitz resale is not that great anymore.
I think swift is a better choice.

good topic. even m confused despite the fact 1000 cc shouldn't be compared to 1300 cc.

Vitz - Japanese (i love Toyotas from them), automatic, air bags, good consumption - vital for today's growing fuel prices and second hand.

Swift - New so sure to be trouble free. Except for air bags and auto tranny, rest is great.

go for vitz..... u can satisfy urself on 1000cc, its gud but if u need a heavier engine..... go for 1.3 vitz.......it will cost around 50k+ the normal one

Go for swift. Real pleasure and fun to to drive. Excellent handling.
Fuel economy is good(13-15 in city and 15-17 on highway).

Build quality is excellent and those commenting about car have no personal experience.

I would vote for VITZ ... but let me tell you its really really hard to find a vitz in (nearly) perfect condition ...

so ... if anyone has the resources to find a really good Vitz ... whose history in Japan and Pakistan is good ... then go for Vitz ...

otherwise dont take the risk ... go for new Swift ...

its 0 meter with warranty,,plus the interior of swift is really hott... vitz u get will b used infact abused abroad..do some reserch buddy, swift is really economical,,fuel avg is 5.0ltr per 85kms, means u ll get arnd 17kms..

I am driving Vitz 1.0L from the last 2 years. Its fuel consumption after oil/spark plugs/filter replacement was 9-10 km/L in city and 14-15 km/L on Motorway at 105 kph. If i drive it at 120 kph the fuel average falls to 12-13 Km/L with AC. I also use a mixture of 30% High Octane with 70% supreme. I am also having a Honda Civic 1.8L Oriel prosmatec and their is hardly any difference in fuel consumption as compared to Vitz. I drove a friends Suzuki Swift and except Auto Transmission I found all its features better than Vitz. Swift engine was noiseless as Vitz is having all sorts of engine noises. My AC Card of vitz got burnt and i bought a 2nd hand from Sultan Khu at 18000 rupees. Vitz is more expensive than reborn that is for sure. Vitz are old reconditioned cars with mileage changed a new car is always better. My vote for "SWIFT"

every vitz is different from other as they are reconditioned. It seems like you got one bad piece (H)
