Vitz RPM drop at D, R gear

i was coming from lahore last week, abs sensor ws not working , my mech told me that i was runing car above 120 in 4th gear, coz if abs sensores are not working, 5th gear wont shift....

can this be a reason of problem in d mode...

Ur car is cvt
It has no gear changes like conventional auto gear
Kindly switch ur mechanics
Abs sensor issue has nothing to do with iddling

i will visit mech tomorrow, currently my gas again leaked, when i turn on ac, it puts too much load on enginee, ride gets hard even when i switch off ac, i have to swithc off car then turn ok, which makes it ok. the problem is when i turn on ac, my rpm drops in d mode....

For AC visit abu bakar in isb.....just search his name on pw's his address n number would come up

If you have got the throttle body serviced and all that, make sure that the recommended spark plugs gap is 1.00 mm to 1.1 mm.
In addition ask your mechanic to perform the following calibrations with a diagnostic computer:
- Zero point calibration.
- CVT oil pressure calibration ( If it is CVT equipped car).
- Sensor G and Yaw rate sensor calibration.

here is the issue that was diagnosed after visiting abu bakar, and lots of efi electricians.

My AC compressor is jam which when turned on causes load on engine due to which it vibrates and shakes. When AC Is off, there is not vibration. Abu baker told me that i would need to change compressor, condensor if needed and vales etc. expecting 20K.

yes sir, it has cvt and 1.3 xli/gli engine...

what is the idling rpm when in gear?

i dont know actually, i am checking with samandar khan efi electrician in sddar, he checks on computer, so far its diagnosed that its not rpm issue, it only occurs when i turn on ac which is faulty, my compressor is faulty, its jammed, i need to replace it. otherwise car runs ok

connect any scan tool and see the rpm at idle when in gear.

Visit Enercon in G-10 those guys are the best with vitz get your car checked from them and your problems will be solved.

aoa, i have plans to visit abu bakar this saturday and install new compressor, i discussed with him today, he gave me following options for compressor,

a) XLI Compressor, since my engine is 1.3 of XLI, so this will be genuine fitting. Abu bakar said, it has higher cooling than vitz original compressor. He told me that this compressor is sensitive, and may blow up easily in situations like engine heatup etc.
b) Vitz original compressor, XLI has better cooling than it
c) Japanese Corrola Compressor, it is similar to XLI in cooling, but as per him, it gives good milleage and puts less load on engine
d) Toyota Duet, cooling is very good, but reliability is lesser

I would request opinions from seniors as to what do they think and throw some valuable light.

Japanese corolla one sounds better if not much of a price variance from original vitz one

Check the refrigerant in the system for overcharged. It could also put extra load on the engine thus giving rise to the engine rpm issues.

i had a similar problem with my vitz 2007 compressor. it created alot of noise. got the original vitz compressor from bilal ganj worth 7K. works fine.

Why not getting the OEM compressor rebuild? Recectly got same done of my 1.5L vitz as it got noisy after engine bay wash.Costed 4200 with gas charging.
