Vitz Transmission Issue (likely)

@Einstein Well I changed it very recently but the problem was the reason I decided to change the Oil so that can't be it.

its my guess this went wrong and i seen some ppl by passed sensor on a vitx 06 here car was running but behaving ab normal
u will get new sensor it should be available at parts shop but first conform is it throttle body Gas pedal or CVT

There are many sensors and many fault codes and i might be wrong but i don't think engine check light would come on for each and every fault code. You can go to a reputable mechanic in ur area who has that diagnostic tool for vitz and get your car scanned. It will not cost much (300-1000 rs) and you might just find the root cause of this issue.

Remember any XYZ mechanic who has the diagnostic tool cannot be assumed as a master mechanic for your car.

I have heard extremely twisted theories by these ustads so make sure you visit the right guy.

Dear S. Iqbal

Simply Reboot the Car Programmer/ software by just unplugging the Battery terminals like:

1. Remove -ve Terminal first.
2. Remove the +ve Terminal.
   after 5 minutes,
3. Plug in the +ve Terminal first.
4. Plug in -ve Terminal.

Check Fuel pump... It could be due to low fuel pressure when you need it while pressing the pedal.

you need to recalibrate the throttle. A toyota tech can do it for you

So what's my plan of action here:

1. I go to Toyota motors and ask them to scan my car for codes
2. If the code specifies a problem, I look into it
3. If not, I ask Toyota to recalibrate my throttle
4. If that too doesn't work I go for an accelerator sensor change
5. If that doesn't work I conclude it's my transmission box after all

Am I missing anything?

you need to recalibrate the CVT oil pressure and Deceleration/ Acceleration sensor calibration to solve this issue..

the name is zero point calibration in Toyota world

Zero point calibratiion takes only a few minutes, did it on my axio via toyota techstream.

is it safe to use a rotary buffer to de-rust the underbody, looks don't really matter, i want to rubber coat it, but i want it to be rust free

Because there is no acceleration and deceleration sensor that you speak of?[/QUOTEyup it is zero point calibration if you dont do it and reset the transmission parameters then the acceleration sensor learning error code will pop up . so in my view first he had to reset the transmission setting and then calibrate the CVT Start and zero point calibration on a flat balanced surface to get results.
