Vitz vs passo?

yes swift is excellent car than the underpowered watermelon shape vitz which catches fire anytime

I would like to clarify the facts.
Passo/Vitz
4speed auto vs CVT
4cylinder engine vs 3cylinder engine
Light body vs heavy body
Inexpensive vs expensive

Toyota Passo is very smooth,fast,quieter than Vitz as it has 4speed AT and 4cylinder engine with light body which makes it even overpowered.Also the price of fresh import Passo is around 2-3 lakhs less than Vitz.
I will suggest you if you have no money prob then go for Swift otherwise Passo is an excellent choice.

i will say some thing about 2 cars....
both are from Toyota,,i think both have many good features,,but its upon you what you like,,,actually vitz has some good curves and good shape which makes it a popular choice of the market, its also little expensive then passo,,engine are almost the same...but one thing which can be an edge for Passo is the price ,,but if you see resale value ,,Vitz is car of the market and Passo is still struggling in Pakistani market.

Today i test drove Swift and i was very much impressed by its drive.It was way more fun than my GLI

passo is spacious than vitz and has same enngine i guess..

Bro engines are different .passo has 4cylinder one vs 3cylinder vitz which makes it underpowered

Bro mine is 04 and it is confirmed that its a 4cyl one with 4speed AT i can feel shifts easily .And yes passo has manual throttle instead of electronic one.Maybe in newer models engine has changed

bro i would like that u also look for new swift
its an amazing car and is better then the underpowered second hand abused vitz because u dont know who used it in japan
and the vitz is also v.v. risky as it catches fire anytime

you are saying a bit true just because toyota recalled these vehicles, and only due to rare chance of fire. there are lot more chances in pakistani manufactured vehicles than vitz, but pakistani manufacturers have never even thought of that or never even dare to think about that. otherwise pakistani cars are at far more risk to catch fire than vitz

they are the same cars only difference is body and passo is little cheaper as it is not that popular as vitz and parts availibilty is better for vitz !!

Too old post, but again,
I am searching Vitz or Passo 2010 - 2012 models which I can purchase.
Seen many vitz but they are not in good condition.. interior is not good or roughly used.

In the meantime, Passo looks good and some available too like 2013 in good condition which I feel..

but my mechanic said, dont buy passo, it has many issues and too many sensors..
Agar Bigri car lay li to azaab hoga.. or kay Main nay kafi bigri passo dekhi hai.. jo sambhalti nahee...

Now, what to do ??????

Literally...??? Are too many sensors a bad thing? Really? And does Passo has that too many, exceptional no. of sensors??? Is it a F-35?

Bro, well maintained, good condition 2010-2012 model Vitz will be hard to find, they will be badly and severely abused / misused. Those in good condition will cost too much.

On the other hand, well-maintained and mint condition Passo (if available) will cost quite reasonable in comparison to Vitz, and tbh, Passo is a decent, reasonable and family car.

You can get well-maintained, mint condition 2013 model Passo in 13-13.5 lac PKR, with auction grade 4.5 (or above).

I think, your mechanic knows little-to-no about Passo. Is this a luxury sedan? that it has many sensors?
It will be having the similar sensors as found in Vitz (but depending on trim), and has the same 1KR-FE engine and CVT transmission as found in similar model year Vitz.

I would sincerely advice to change your mechanic.

Basically, Meri last Honda city 2006 main kafi issues rahay...
us ki mileage 7-8 say agay hi nahe barh sakee.... bohat kaam karaya us par ....

so, thora confusing hogaya hoon. kuch thread bhi read kiay hain kay passo issues kar rahee hai like vibration or low mileage ka ...

sath sath...... is kay parts etc....

meri running KHI city main hi hai,,, sal main 2-3 bar long route hota hai bus.
Honda city 2011 dekh raha tha to socha 11-12 lac hi invest karna hai to auto may karay banda...
