@ISB/RWP VW owners
i woudl duggest you find an alternative to khalid to get work don on your ca, it seems they have lost all interest to get enthusiast cars back on the road and are more worried about making money.
since i have come back from the UK i have YET to have any decent work done on my car an instead they have been busy working on various other models of cars like suzukis, hondas etc and even if you do get an appointment to get your car worked on they'll abandon it any time some other idiot walks in and wants to get some tiny work done on their car.
I have known khalid since 1999 and even though i still consider him a friend i want to warn you all before taking your car to his workshop, the chances of them actually doing work on your car are slim,... and the chances of gettig the work done right are even slimmer. it's not entirely khalids fault as he still is an enthusiast and works very hard, it's just that his staff are a bunch of untrained monkeys and even though he asks them to do their jobs as soon as he has his back turned they start goofing off and cutting corners,.. too bad since it is khalids reputation which is being ruined.
as it is my 1303 drives like a f*cking tanga right now as last time they reset the ride height they screwed up the alignment to a point wher the steering (from time to time) has NO imput as to the direction the car is eading and the rear left of the car is sitting at least 2 inches lower than the other side.
to add insult to injury i found out that during the last rainy days that even though my car was sitting in a shed the few drops of water which did land on my car manged to make their way inside the car via the mounts of the side steps,... not somethign you'd expect when you throw 4 lacks at a build project. this coudl have been avoided had they just put 3 drops of silicone on the mounts.
sad to come to this conclusion but in a few more years all the beetles of this city will be dead thanks to the unprofessional behaviour and practices of khalid ustaads workshop.
you have been warned, i suggest you learn to do it all yourself now. lucky for me i managed to rectify all the problems with my car at home and now am enjoying my car (no thanks to those muppets).
