salam to all beetles here guys i want to be a beetle like u can u guys tell me of beetle within the range of 45 to 55 k in running condition coz m planning to built that while running it. i hope u help me transform myself into a loving beetle as u guys thnx in advance

in that price in KHI you are probably going to find a VERY bad car. you are better off finding a better car in KHI (more expensive) or looking in LHR or RWP. but then again, asad might have his eyes on some sweet deal in KHI.

yaar not using it for longer runs due to weather conditions its to hot now a days so i am preferring car wid AC ...
its silencer needs replacement, i went to that silencer guy; he told me that i have to wait for 2 days as he will fabricate 1 for me ( according to him there was some company who use to make them and now they don't). i'll spare an hr or so to get it replace.

@ all: Went up to Nathia Gali and more on my Beetle with 4 people including me, went with some of the VWCOP ISB members but came back today as I stayed there for the night... My trip was without any trouble and had an excellent ride... Though it was hot today on the return journey... Still the car gave no trouble and I didnt make any major stops... Extremely satisfied with my ride as this was the frist long route I tested her on...

My fender re-paint is scheduled for tommorrow...

And that error thing is a pain in the ass... Mods please resolve it. I have even sent you a P.M through 'report abuse'...

Mine is running fine. Lpg consumption needs to be adjusted. Gears giving some trouble. Otherwise its doing fine.

i met up with romano today, he filled me in on the entire trip,.. LOL!

i also took the 1303 out today, was hot for sure but it was SOOOO much fun to drive her after 2 weeks that i ignored the heat. had alot of kids taking pics of her ewhen i parked her at saidpur too and their parents all came up to me and told me stories of thier old VW's,.. overall a great day (Y)

my denter also told me abt an ad in Jang (Sunday) it was of some 68/69 bug check it may b its still for sell

u can also try Abdul Basit (famous denter ) off and on he got bugs for sell & check ur email again

My elder brother is coming down from Cali, USA next month. What do you suggest I can ask him to bring for me??? He cannot afford to buy more of the pricy items (has overshot the budget already) so big things have to wait for a while. Smaller, hard to find items ideas welcome.

i'd suggest the rubbers that go under the outer door handles, the rubber stopper that prevents the engine lid form banging into the body, the stickers for the entire car (6V, tyre pressure, valve clearance, etc), some urethane suspension bits, carb service kit, engine lid handle gaskit/seal, sunvisor clips (TMI), wiperhsaft-to-body seal etc.

 All very good ideas. Thanks. Most of these things were in my mind and the wishlist thats been passed on include these. He would not be able to do many urethane bits given their bulk....


 Sunvisor clips......a 59 doesnt have any. Post 68 ones were available in Karachi a while ago of pretty good quality.

First guy out there to post a pic of this sorry '67 gets a VW key strap from me! Its a dull dark blue with silver roof, and strange TVR type headlights. oh yes, it usually has a paper taped to the inside of the front screen listing its latest mechanical issues!

  I just have to see this!! Esp a close up shot of the actual list which I want to read.

  That car might fit what you are looking for. It does need work but is  a good base car.
