for sure it's worth a look, seems liek a nice clean 67. have seen this car at khalids once a long time ago and it was pretty solid. however it'll NEVER be able to hit 160km/h in the currents state and there is no chance in hell it does 0-60 in 10 seconds (as advertized). perhaps if the price is right you could go for it. just make sure the owner doesn't email pics of himself

and to add insult to injury,.. the brown beetles price has gone up from 70k to 1lac.

^there is "collectors value" and then there is plain greed. most cars i've seen aren't worth their weight in scrap (30rs/kg) but they are selling them as if they are made of gold. just be patient, prices WILL fall soon since many of these cars will be standing for a long time.

do note that anyone with a VW right now is dying due to the heat so they will try to sell them in winter (when heat isn't an issue for the buyer)

Okay guys....

 Ive updated my ragtop thread......today is a sad day for me since it was a low spot for the project thanks to the rains....:'(....anyway.....


 To cheer myself up I went on a parts hunting spree. Picked up a couple of rare items. To be revealed in due course of time.....


 Saw this late model VW Bus. Unfortunately its being scrapped as the body is too rusted. It is yielding many useful parts for another bus so the story is not too sad......
