Ive been away for a while from PW and this topic.......Im in town but suffering from horrible jet lag and a very uncooperative net connection (the net co blame my phone line somehow).

Excellent pics of Khalids workshop!! I am happy to see that someone in pakistan is capable of a body off resto. I would like to subject my 59 to the same treat!! But in the not so near future......gathering parts now.
I enquired about such a denter in Karachi and Ive heard that Basit is equally good and is capable of body off restos. Anyone had any luck with him??
And btw, I am sure you can offer a more detailed account of 'how to maintain your VWs engine'!!

What parts do you need exactly???? Do ask me and Ill see what I can do. I have a 'beetlefriend' coming from Brazil soon. I can ask him if he can bring an exhaust over but it would be brazilian and not german as you want it to be.Brazilians are also quite good. I dont know him very well so keep ur fingers crossed if I make any requests. Do let me know.
Can you specify which window rubbers u need?? The left rear one......is it a fixed type or popout???? Do let me know and Ill see if I can help.

Do let me know if anyone has a wishlist for bug parts. I often go here and there in my quest for rare and interesting parts so I do stumble on a lot of stuff. Which reminds me, I also have a long wish list which I will proclaim on PW very soon!!
Even today I was shuffling through piles of VW bits in Shershah, less than a week after my touching pakistani soil!!
