@vicious77 - In my opinion it could have been better if you haven't made it to Convertible and changed the engine. I don't think it has the original engine anymore. Its looks alright by "asthetically" but technically it won't last for many years now. Although I appreciate your effort and wish you luck.

congrats on the parts buddy, we will be getting together in a few days to bid farewell to the "foxy shahzadi" whihc is heading to france. details will be given to you by phone as there are some security issues.

may parts, still waiting for shakeel to give us a complete list. i'd suggest you don't wait for him to do so and try and head over to the shop. pappus shop is a little far from khailds place. what do you need from him? do note that pappu is as reliable as an XLi's brakes...

what engine are you ruinning? pics? specs? who did the mods? feedback? even though i'm a purist i'm always interested in what people do to VWs and to see how the mods work.

for the jinaza of khalid ustaads sister we are meeting at the MCB/Mr Cod (blue area) parking lot at 1pm to make it to the jinaza by 2pm which is being held near/in pir wadahi (pindi). please feel free to join us.

anyone coming from pindi can contact us and meet us there as well.

please try and make it to show your support for someone who has always been there for us in less desperate times.

Hii-i saw ur post which stated that moqeem bhai has the i/4 window locks!i desperately need one fast as i am hampered by the absence of the lock on one window and soo i hardly take my beetle anywhere!i wud be grateful if u cud explain to me the location of his shop or give me his no.

most meets planned by the ISB VWCOP members are in ISB, we're planning ot get together in 3 weeks time (hopefully) and i'm going to try and get my 182 ready by then, but since khalids sister has just passed away i doubt he'll be working on our cars any time soon.

so you were one of the guys in romanos lightweight rocket... if you ever want to go even faster in a VW you shoudl try getting a ride in KPsheikhs 67 when/if he refits his 2100cc engine with dual carbs. believe it or not, romanos car is pretty much a stock 1600 setup (in a 1200E chassis) so you can imagine how fast these cars were back in the 60's & 70's.

Glad that you joined us buddy, clearly you are catching the VW fever. BTW all of us in the VWclub are still learning abotu these cars so don't feel out of place,... appart from romano, asad and nasir we are all novices.

excellent coverage of "foxy shahzadi" buddy, i think these are currently the most detailed pics of this car.

the 2CV guy is 100% class, we weren't expecting him to make it but as usual his love for old cars brought him here. same applies for the uncle in the blue 1302,.. .all heart!

BTW the pic of benazir is SERIOUSLY messed up!
