Okay , so then please be specific as which tire should I buy ? Should I buy them in group or should I buy seperate for front and rear. and dont forget the spare.

Smaller tires means lesser torque required to turn them therefore lesser stress on the engine and more fuel economy overall, however smaller tires reduce top speed by as much as 20kmph depending on your top speed and difference in tire size of course, wouldnt affect your beetle much at all.
Larger tires give you a better ride but of course you could achieve the same thing with smaller rims with tires of the same thickness.
Larger tires could also move your center of gravity higher (this can be scary in a beetle) which may make your care more likely to fall on its side in a tight turn..
everyone must've seen a suzuki crapbolan flip over!

I'd there us no other choice out there then go for 175s up front and 195s on the rear (we're talking about eurostars here only)

Due to the way a beetle suspension is set up it's nearly impossible to flip one. They'll understeer and prevent a flip.

hehehehe mine over steers a LOT! it's so fun and wayward! like driving a boat on the road! more like a hovercraft but yeah it understeers too.
still I feel like it could flip.
I understand the new GT tires (6 ply tires) give you an amazing ride. You can barely feel the cats eyes! Is this true?

Wheel tuck (flipping over) in Swing Axle early bugs (pre 66) is a reality. We already have had a thorough discussion on this on my thread, on page 31 onwards. ( https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/d-i-y-projects/160756-o-_-_-o-1965-volkswagen-type-1-beetle-d-i-y-project-31#post2735561 )

Thereby, we also have discussed Z-bars and Camber Compensators to keep early bugs from wheel tuck (flipping over).

Wheel tuck becomes a reality only after modification or if you drive like a lunatic, either way if the car flips then most likely you deserved it.

Z bars and camber compensators are awesome ideas but honestly we shouldn't be pushing our bed to a point where we'd need them.

Sounds like shiney roads and old tyres to me. Which tyres are refering to when you said GT?

Total stock (non-modified) suspension on early bugs (specifically pre-66) had the probability of wheel tuck and the flaw was known/realized by VW and was under research to be eliminated ever since 61/62.

Therefore, as first real measure (a stock modification), VW undertook suspension modification on 66s, and chose to add Z-bars (search Z-bars on rear axles on VWs anywhere, either on google/the samba for more details). Before that there were no such measures on the swing axles and therefore there was probability of wheel tuck specially when driving at high speeds on curves and steep inclinations.

However later bugs are saved from this curse and introduction of IRS was the real fix that VW could offer to its customers as wheel tuck eliminator.

This is what happens when the car had more power than the chassis can handle. Granted the pre 66 stuff isn't my forte so I can understand my mistake but the conversation which i was taking part with earlier was about 1303s so for some reason I was stuck in IRS mode,.... D'OH!

Yea!! they understeer and then oversteer and spin out straight into a concrete divider but refuse to flip :P...or even lift a wheel!!

Oh it drifts when you put power and understeers when you dont but the opposite side DOES lift when you get some grippy tarmac! scary stuff!
It happened the first time i drove the bug cos I had no idea! but being a regular drifter It was awesome fun! decided not to try it again though, may damage the axle right?

GT tire is a new korean tire (i'm told) its 4 or 6 ply and is really heavy but gives a very smooth ride!

blame the mechanic or the previous owner. Most mechanics in Pakistan consider it a nuisance and discard it. It is usually the rubber bushings and snubbers that wear out over time and then the bar rattles. Not able to find replacements, the complete assemblies are chucked out.
