Now this is interesting...Vintage VWCOP logo.

I have never known about this logo for VW Club. May be @nmshaikh could be able to shed some light on this one and may be some history of this one too.

This was a copycat version of the VWCOP that sprung up at one time in Islamabad....more like ..we don't like the way you play so we'll form our own team...

The club had a (lone) get together in Islamabad and distributed awards like Best VW mechanic (awarded to Camera Ustaad) and under a few other categories. VWCOP members participated in the get together and while there were at least two bay window campers in the line-up could not convince the Beetle club to come under the fold of VWCOP.

It died its natural death and the only reminder of its existence are the stickers you spot on some of the cars.

@ Saadabdulrahim - your '74 1200 may be sad-looking but it's certainly doable. Reminds me of many of my cars when I first saw them. Good luck!

@Nasir - what's the news on the Kabari with the Rwp 58 Ragtop? Any developments? What became of the car?

the stuff included
genuine clean vw bus speedo
good as new head lights with rings
beetle exhaust
pair of front beetle seats
master cylender (beetle)
pedal system beetle
1303 steering

just wana know will this stuff fit in vw thing and work and are the bus lights and speedo same as vw thing. the lights are in too good condition to let go

Thing wiper motor is THING ONLY part and a wiper motor either from Bug or Bus wont fit thing unless there is modification done to make it work.

tried hard to find the genuine motor but no luck only alternative is modification

1303 Steering - Shall fit but is "incorrect" for your year (1971), instead buy a 1968 steering/column which would be correct for your year
