Mayo hospital Lahore..
In Islamabad ...getting the VWCOP sticker placed on the windshield by Romano.
Blue Area Islamabad. Following Billo to Khalid Sahib's workshop in Rawaplindi for some badly needed repairs
No time was wasted when the beetle arrived at the workshop
the engine was removed right after the first round of tea was over
Turns out that 9 out of the 16 case studs had come loose (threads stripped) but amazingly the beetle chugged on (leaving behind a trail of oil )
Corrective action was taken
..the engine re-assembled (over more rounds of tea, of course)
the work continued well into the night. The whole team remained available for service if needed
...and indeed it was needed...The exhaust was rotten beyond belief so it was patched up as best as possible
the engine was shoved back in..
picture time with the entire team
The club decided to give the Spinal Beetle a true Pakistani memento. It was Sameer's idea and was unanimously adopted.
Thanks, Nice to see quick work at Khalid Sahib's Workshop
name of second person from left side plz??

This is Arshad..in my opinion the best VW panel beater in business.
So after a lot of patience and ages wait, I am successful of getting the car superbly painted by him :)Tried ruby red but somehow the color was not looking good on the test so we switched to Tornadorot and what a good decision that was! here are the pictures of progress..
Oh its the CATLOOK...a newer trend..you probably haven't heard of it yet
