@Reezvaan, agree with yr comments on the white car; however it may be a pre 64 (I was wondering, are those peanuts up front?), secondly, how does one get dome hubcaps to fit a slotted 66 wheel. Do they fit?

can anyone guide about the oil filter adapter for type-1 engine?

 You have to have the complete kit for this. It should bolt on in fifteen min to half hour by an expert.

This is a 1965 Beetle restored at the workshop pics dont do justice at the quality of the job.

This is at Dr Sahabs Car Care Garage. 

He does amazingly beautiful restos if you can afford to spend top buck. No doubt every penny is well spent there.

I went there a few days ago but did not see this particular bug. Maybe its an older resto? Or maybe it was at the upholstery walla??

The car is a pre 64 bug as pointed out by Reezvan.

The domed hubcaps do not fit the 66-7 slotted wheels. I'm guessing these may have been fit by installing OG style pre 65 clips to the newer wheels to hold the hubcaps on. I think they are the same dia as the 66-7 hubcaps. However if that was an easy mod, I wonder why guys abroad do not do it everyday??

Other possibility may be that these are Porsche 356 wheels?

 Looked at the wheels again.....the slot's profile does not match 356 slots.....

 However, the kind of clientele this garage has, I would not at all be surprised even to see a complete 50s Porsche here.

Beautiful job this. I agree the guy who worked his magic restoring this 64 (yes its 64 not 65, note the thick pillar posts, the straight vent wing dividers/felts & ofcourse the wiper position - 65 has wipers other way round) knows his work. Attention to details is great. I wonder who is the guy? I also would want to know the proud owner of this beautifully restored bug.

B/w why the slotted 66 wheels instead of the year correct smoothies?

The Uncle who owns this place and who supervises the work is referred to affectionately as Dr. Saheb. Well he is in fact a Phd. He has his own Beetle bought and collected directly from wolfsburg and driven to Pakistan from switzerland he even has a VW Thing. He says that humare jitnaa pagal koee nahee hai is liay koee itnaa ghus ke kaam nahee are gaa... I have seen the complete restoration of this Beetle and a couple of other Beetles as well aat his Work Shop and he is very dedicated person He has his issue of run away Panel Beaters bcoz in his own words Juice nikal jaata hai yahan denter ka.

Nooooooooooooooo not at all the combination of cars u mention is with Faisal another guy whose cars usually go to Raheem Universal Autos. Dr. Sb. is really in a different league altogether and beleive me it is not an over blown statement.At the moment he has atmost 3 Beetle related customers .. this is during the last three years that I have known him.
