A Brazilian politician tried to save it, unsuccessfully, so the final Last Edition Volkswagen Type 2 Kombi was produced on December 20, 2013 and now resides in a vintage museum at Volkswagen's Commercial Vehicles HQ in Hanover, Germany.
The Volkswagen Microbus was built for 56 years, starting in September 1957. Brazil was the last country still assembling it, but new safety regulations in the country requiring airbags and ABS on all cars spelled the end. When that politician introduced a bill that would pardon only the 'Bus from a death sentence, it couldn't garner the required number of votes for passage. The South American country takes the Kombi production title, though, with 1.5 million of the 3.5 million total made in the home of Copacabana beach.

The VW Club of Pakistan took its members on another fun filled outing - to the fruit orchards of Khanpur, and then onwards to a 1500 year old Buddhist Monastery!
Khanpur is a small village located about 40 km from Islamabad. The dam provides drinking water to the cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi besides irrigation in the adjoining areas. The abundance of water combined with the fertile and very suitable soil for citrus made it the choice site for the late President Ayub Khan (who hailed from nearby Rehana village) to develop the area as an orange grove. He introduced imported citrus trees from Florida, California, South Africa and Australia. Sargodha in Punjab produces more oranges than Khanpur but Khanpur oranges sell at twice the price for their distinctive taste! We went to an orchard and sampled the fruit still on trees.
We then carried on to Bhamala Monastery excavated in 1930-31.This secluded Buddhist site, dating to the 4th century has a distinctive archaeological feature: Its main ‘stupa’ is built upon a cruciform base as opposed to the circular ‘stupas’ found in other Gandhara sites.
The ancient site of Bhamala has been inscribed in 1980 upon the World Heritage List of the conventions concerning the protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage.

ok guys, my foxxy won't start when starting the ignition, however it does start when some gives it a push.

so what could be faulty? battery? i recently charged it up.... spark plugs? anything else?

The battery should be fine if you are able to crank (turn) the engine using the starter switch. Try to depress the accelerator only ONCE then lift your foot off the pedal and crank the engine. This would ensure that you do not flood the carburetor while starting. Sometimes when the carburetor is flooded the car wont start but it can still be push started.
