Vtec Light in Honda CiviC 95 B16a (Spano)

nice mate...but VTEC doesn't kick at 6500RPM..it kicks earlier then that but nice upgrade

buddy, it depends on engine to engine.... for orginal P30 on B16A it kicks on 5500 rpm
but i have Vtec controller so i have shifted it to 6000rpm...
no need to worry ... i can be brought down any time i want

Great Job buddy!!! ITs looking good! Just a little suggestion, make your meter ligths white or green and the VTEC light Pure RED... It will give a good effect!!! Non Vtec= Green Eco mode, VTEC = Performance

its not irritating at all... infact .... when i am pushing my car... i really dont concentrate on these lights.... all i am looking at the shift light and the digital RPM meter on my piggyback

The VTEC spool is 1 amp - loading is up more can damage the transistor

I made a little LED to test this very function - and have installed a similar light in some people's cars too and some also had a two LED function. Funky.

What should be done though is

Variable cam actuator = 1 LED
Cooling Fan = 1 LED
Perfect Engine temperature = 1 LED
Low Coolant = 1 LED

Would be nice - but more look like a Generator control panel.
