The reason for this is the very system that give the engine all that extra power - The cams & VVT/V-TEC. You can of course use larger cams to get more power, but this defeats the purpose of having the VVT/V-TEC in the first place."
After market cams dont eliminate VTEC, the duration and lift on VTEC activation on those cams is even higher than stock.
BUt yea ... old topic.
Anyways VTEC and VVTi/VVT isnt comparable, since VTEC varies lift and duration, which makes major difference.
