I just wanted the owner to know what to expect so he might be less shcoked than I was when I first tried selling my rides.

@Devilspassion...I know better than anyone else on this site what effort means and what you have to go through to make a one of a kind ride as I have been through 3 such experiences. You are missing my point yet again. I am just saying that you never get paid for your effort and thats the bitter reality. PERIOD.

nice looking VW. my personal preference has always been to restore to original specs - then it retains its value. this car in mint condition in the US could sell for $5000-$7000 but only if restored to original specs.
a good place to get an idea of the value would be ebay (motors)
