Wagon R 2012 Engine R06A Oil and Screeching sound

Dear All,

Last week I Bought a Wagon R 2012 145K driven , previous owner poured in 5w-50 oil in it which is wrong oil grade I suppose , right one's weight should be min 0 max 30, Engine has a Knock sound , Spark plugs OEM, airfilter are new with car turned up. There is some problem with pully as after changing the belt and turning on AC screeching is still loud and on.

Please recommend me Oil (145k on odo) grade/Company/Location to be poured in it and from a genuine seller as I am not into buying repacked fake oils from Plaza's Local distributors.

Total Quartz 9000 Future Series 5w-30, provided; engine health is perfect in all respects, and you are not facing any oil reduction issues.

If 5w-30 does not suit, you may consider 10w-30 by Havoline. Its one of the excellent oils in its league and grade, and value for money.

Then, ZIC 10w-40 is another value for money option, if both above mentioned oils do not suit.

@omersiddiqui5482 @consigliori Brothers you help is required here regarding places to get genuine engine oil in Karachi. I believe brother is from Karachi and do not know about authorised dealers / distributors of passenger car engine oils in Karachi.

Bro best are the Caltex outlets. For my Alto n Civic 'X I go for dealership oil change. For my Cruiser and ex cultus, Caltex shops all the way...

Sir Engine is not reducing oil, so smoke little bit water drop. I am from Karachi

as @consigliori sir said, Caltex Outlets i get oils changed from there always never had any issues with the quality of the Oil.
