Wagon R: JDM or PKDM?

Bro we have two pkdm WagonR in my family one belong to my brother just baught in january this year, both are very happy.

There are some pros and cons in both what we considered before buying is easy availability of parts and brand new car without any doubts.

JDM is is more comfortable and smooth drive but not very significant difference as compared to PKDM. But parts availability is little problematic.

PKDM is 1000cc more powerful, feel like 1300cc but seats are not that comfortable but good as compared to cultus. Very fuel efficient 15km within city with soft foot. Good AC and easily available parts and i think better resale then JDM.

For family its very spacious.
I would suggest go for PKDM. But please do little more research on pros and cons then decide.

PKDM Wagon R.
Its 1000cc K10B engine has a good amount of low-end torque, gives good mileage, it's far better than 660cc engines.
More powerful engine means better A/C.
The ground clearance of JDM Wagon R is very bad.

For bad seats if u can spare some budget try finding a clean set of JDM wagon r seats and install them in pkdm wagon r

and how much jdm seats cost? hasn't the JDM WR got the sofa seat, how would that fit into pkdm?

Kashif bro, WagonR is available for test drive on almost every showroom, please have a test drive and i am sure you will not feel like changing the seats, they are not that bad.

irfan bhai i went to Suzuki Rawalpindi for a test drive but it was not available at that time (i visited them after their timing so they allowed me to see the car and not to test drive). However, I would visit them again and i would pay attention to the seat too this time.

I owned wagonR vxl bought in Feb and so far 8000km on odo.
Excellent performance good pick and comfortable drive.(am driving daily 100km) chilling AC cons are ugly shape wobbling in windy conditions after 80km speed. Otherwise superb ride only missing factor is auto transmission. I am getting 325 km from 15.5 litre of regular petrol which is just amazing.

Brother may be wheel balancing issue, mine alhamdolillah stays steady n smooth even till 170. Wind somewhat impact the body but not tyres.

Its all about power to weight ratio pkdm and jdm wagon r both are 825kg rated while pkdm one have better torque to pull same weight

I am at the same situation where the Kashif bhai was 2 years back i want to use car as the replacement of bike daily travel distance 40 km almost, and yes occasionally for longer trip Isld to Lhr. kindly suggest pkdm or Jdm.(fuel economy and maintenance major things and yes resale too ) Thanks
