Wagon R VXL Fuel Economy issues

Sir Suzuki North are not more than road side car mechanics so there inspection doesn't worth.

I own wr 1000 n 17 model. I was using 5w30 zik as we own it. But it never went more than 13. But on friend advised me to go fo eneos. I did it 10w40. Car is now smooth, pick is also improved n average got better. Now getting 512,14 in city n I usually drive wth heavy paddle

Light blinking start k baad mein 2800 Ka petrol bhi Pakistan k No.1 petrol Pump se Lia,117.1/Litre se Lia,aur Wagon R vxl bhi applied 4 hai,meter noted that 1437.
Meter again blink on1767, it's petrol driven 330K.M now difference between before and after.
2800/117.1=23.9111870196 litre petrol consumed quantity.
Now result that.13.3410357143.
Means 13.34K.m/ Litre average,
But without A.C or Heat too,if used these average more low.
Remember it's 2020 and search show 15K.M/1L.
Why not 15​.. I want it 15, my route of business not like that city. Like long route and no speed over to 90k.m and under 3000Rpm..
Please guide me,any experiencefully person of Wagon R vxl,that is right or not.

Bhai,,aam BAAT ahi,puncture lahany waly kehty hain 18/30 front and rear tyre. Wo 30 Ka 36 psi Kaha aap ne ,k jawa itni ho,,air last mein 175 Kia hai tyre Ka. Keaap me 175 tyre/rim lagway,to company fitted size Kia hai?? About Wagon R 6

Bhai stock tyres k sath you should keep 36PSI on all tyres.

Clean air filter from service station every month

Without AC it should easily give 15-17 within city.

With AC 13-14 per liter in city is what you will get.

I have 2019 Wagon R VXR and this is what I get.

NOTE : Also change fuel pumps and this way you know which pump gives the best if you are in Karachi I can give you few locations that give best fuels.

My wagon r vxl only do 390km in full tank. Its all rumore that its avg is 15km in local yes with out ac it does 14km but with ac maximum 11.5

What tyre size are you running if stock then no issue. Just clean your throttle body and catalytic converter and try not to push it to its limits.

Dear Friends, having same issue but worst. My car is giving average of 12km per liter without AC and it is 2017 wagon R. See the report attached. Anyone please advise which Suzuki Service center is best in Islamabad.

Though it's an old post but want to share my experience.
I am getting 20-21 km/L avg on long in winter's whiles driving at constant speed of 100-110 max
In summers of 2022 I am getting 18-19 km/L with AC at Fan speed 1-2 and speed 100-110... Tyres are 155/80/13 and I keep pressure 36 all time.
Within city with AC I am getting 15-16 easily..

Some Tips to share from my personal experience!!

Tyre pressure should be kept 36 psi for WagonR as mentioned in door panel
Clean air filter after every 1000-1500 kms
Clean Air sensor and Map sensor in every tuning (after15_20k kms) you Can do it at home very easy.
Keep ac at fan speed 1 or 2.. it saves fuel.. rest you can adjust accordingly to your need . I always keep at 1 and I feel comfortable at this speed.
Drive with patience and Relaxing..don't rush..you don't need to rush, you are wasting fuel because of unnecessary speeding and braking.. accelerate slowly, I usually put 5th gear at 60 km/hr.. observe situation on road and traffic in front of you and adjust your speed by releasing your foot from pedal..not by agly Gari k sir py brake lgana.. apko samny u turn Lena hai to approach slowly by gradually decreasing your speed by lowering gear or by releasing your foot from race pedal.. gari u turn tak bhaga k ly k jaingy r phr brake lgaingy to apny wo Sara fuel waste kia..
Switch of your Engine at Signals..don't do unnecessary idling..
These figures are ALHAMDULILLAH True in my Case and I travel about 2500-3000 kms a Month.

I am Using 10w-40 semi synthetic Oscar (UAE) engine oil and changing after 8000 kms
Guard air and oil filter ..
Used STP Engine flush at 40k kms ..liqui Moly Fuel Injectors cleaner used at 40k kms..Now reading is 62k kms..

I am having the worst of all I think. I filled up 11 liters when gauge was on blink and after driving 62KM, its back to blinking. so from blink to blink I am getting like 6km/l. This is all city drive in a small town with traffic all the time, bad street roads and very small distances. some idling too as I prefer to keep AC on when waiting for kids at school and tuitions etc.

Please tell me what could be possibly wrong. I have gone through the tunning process from both the dealership and mashoor-e-zamana mechanic.

Travelling short distances, on bad roads and with traffic will not give you a good mileage. Apart from that if the car is idling excessively with AC on then essentially for that time you are getting 0km/l. In an hour, the car might consume up to or more than a liter of petrol with the AC running on idle (depends on weather and heat outside). 6km/l is still too low but then it all depends on how you drive and if the car is properly maintained or not.
