there is also this mega T3 inverter as well. looks like it works better in very hot areas.

yes T3 is better. however i couldnt find it in local market. so i got proactive which has tropicalized compressor and it worked well in last year summer AL HAMD U LILLAH

Its working superb, as the second season starts now, now in 15 hours from night 3 AM to 6 PM , it consumes 4.5 units of electricity in 15 hours, on 26 degrees temperature set. It means it runs on 300 to 380 watts, depends on outside temperature. Its eer is not mentioned on its outer , but input watts for cooling are mentioned which is 1755 watts. Its cooling capacity is totally not mentioned on the outer unit, but a 1.5 ton inverter ac general cooling capacity is 5250 watts. So its eer will be is equal to 3.00. The formula is 5250 watts divided by 1755 watts. The lower the input watts(cooling) the higher will be the eer.
