While looking for an AUTOMATIC Transmission car for common use UNDER 600K BUDGET, I found one local ALTO 2007 model which have according to the seller:
-Engine swapped with 660cc
-Transmission automatic
I found this thread of Engine swap way informative and an eye opener before any swapped engine car purchase.
I am planning to see the car in-person.... to drive and see at the basic level as to how the car performs? BUT, THE REAL CONCERN AND ADVICE NEEDED IS....what else do i have to check or keep in mind AND what sort of mechanic do I take along with me to get the car checked for RIGHT swap and performance. Moreover, is Pakwheels basic carsure test,good enough to help find any major issue.
Note: I have already spoken to seller and he said he got the car 7 months ago, later he got the engine swapped and transmission to automatic, the car paper as per excise site is still showing 997cc (alto default) which ofcourse needs to be updated...reason to sell quoted to be not in too much use. but gave verbal assurance of everything working good.

Appreciate your advice and basic queries which I may ask from seller to unveil more on the engine technical blend with OEM mechanics and electronics of the car.
