it is 38 for the 1.2L and 45 for the 1.8L... grace kay liya a6 hay:p... it is a big upgrade from the previous brands you had and affordable as well... it is a compact sedan and has great features... as far as i have seen, the competing bmw and merc editions are 60+... do some research, a3 is the way to go... i would have said a4, but the current version is going out and a new one will come next year... i am also dead set on buying a3, when budget allows...

the reason i am suggesting audi is that it is cheaper and give same or better features than the other two german brands... also, buying a zero meter is better than a used one, which has been running for so many years as you will have to do a lot more maintenance and it will get expensive...

Stay away from Audi. Audi is simply just another German car. BMW is simply just another German car. Mercedes, however, is well, Mercedes. Audi is a flop in Pakistan. Their 3S dealership will close sooner or later leaving the ownership stranded (just like Nissan and Mitsubishi). Its not that I have some insight from anyone; its just a guess. They can't really survive selling 4 or 5 cars in the entire year you know.

Sir u need to get ur facts straight target of Audi was to sell around 6-8 cars per year but now they cant keep up with the demand they are selling like hotcakes,and better in resale cuz we sold our E class 2011 after 5 months with a 20lac loss while the A4 was sold within a week.
Kindly look at the baseline model of the w204 and the A4 look at the specs and see the price tag then tell me.
@poster rule no.1 when buying a german machine always go for later models or facelift.I am telling u out of sheer experience now the reason i recommended u an A4 is because for 55lac u will get a 2012 c class or a facelifted E.So if u get a 2015 A4 which is going to be the most refined model at such a low rate why not go for it.New A4 will take some time to reach here plus it will cross 60lac.
So bottomline is to try out the drive of both Audi and Mercedes u will see the difference ,mercedes wins for having softer suspension and less cabin noise during crosswinds on the motorway,otherwise Audi thrashes the mercedes in everthing here is a quick fact mercedes c200komp 199 lb ft torque & Audi 2.0 tfsi 236 lb ft.

Well I must strongly Recommend you that you should take the advice of the Owners who own it & are regular Users for some generations, Don't take the word of FANBoys "Aey Bhaiya, BMW ki Baat he kuch or hai" "Audi tu farigh hai Yarr"
& I think @Marschall Bro is Right to Much Extent as he has an experience as he said. & The Shahnawaz & Dewan are Big Loots, The First Price they offer is Sooo High Than AUDI Pak, So How they'll rip you off in After Sale Service, You can easily get an idea. I can Import BMW or Benz on my own from Japan, But Because of HIGH PRICEDD after sale services I don't go for it, I'll Buy Audi as soon as my Budget will allow.

In this Forum I have read that The Same Model that is Benz CLA is provided by Shahnawaz Importers at Much Higher rate than the Audi A3, But in Foreign Countries, They're Competitors & have Almost Same Price

If you are looking for 10-15 years old Mercedes then you should be careful as some of those models have a lot of issues especially with electronics. Mercedes cars after 2005 have improved. There is a difference between the rides in Mercedes and BMW. It is also a question of image.

Its 1.6L/156hp. Dunno warranty. They do, however, gave 100 guarantee that you'll be ripped off in maintenance

I thought 1.8 German makes would go under fixed duty, whereas 2.0 would be charged according to the price of the car, which would make the price difference to day-and-night. I think the 1.8 is 170hp and would be significanlty lower in torque than you mentioned.

Could you please share the details of your experience with the Merc? Did it take you 5 months to sell it after many years of use, or did you sell it after 5 months of having bought it brand-new? How much was the selling price and in which year did you sell it? What trim was it?

You simply can't compare a 7 series with a C class. 7 series is way better than C class in terms of comfort, drive and options. But C-class has the edge of cheaper maintenance due to lesser options and simpler engine. Why do you want a German saloon anyway? Better wait an year and go for the 2016 Honda Civic. There's nothing better than a locally manufactured car if maintenance is your priority and civic isn't such a bad car after all. You've owned it, you must be aware of this.

in Pakistan we get 1.8tfsi as the duty above 1800cc is very high, A4 1.8tfsi is 170hp & 320nm(236lbft) torque....yes its high in torque compare to C200/C250cgi 1.8t

I just made a comparison between both the engines and yes Audi is far superior no doubt about it in terms of torque and price.The merc was an E 250cgi 2011 & trim was Elegance got it via shahnawaz from stuttgart as per pakistani spec i.e raised by some millimeters i am forgetting whether it was 15mm or 5mm and boosted Aircon which is just on paper.got it for 85 sold less then 65 so there u have it.A4 was so good that we have purchased an A6 which is more spacious compared to the E,check the specs look at the wheel base of the A6 u will be suprised.
Also the Audi workshop is somewhat more well mannered their staff is very good.The reason why i recommend audi to the poster is that he is new to german autos and so Audi is a safe and wise decision.Although my personal ride is an old merc with a V6 but thats just me.
