Its good to hear that you recognized you made a mistake and sought to rectify it. But its always better to think and plan thoroughly before doing or saying ANYthing - this is a general rule in life to be successful.

Hes a 13 yr old...! And this is how we learn, by making mistakes and then being taught otherwise and trying our best not to make them again. Let him learn by experience and example (set by mature members) simultaneously..!
