hmmm you've raised a very common misunderstanding people have... waxing is always done under shade... and when the body is not hot (the idea behind it is that wax has better penetration when cold, and if its hot it takes time to settle down due to increase temp. (wax are suppose to melt at high temp) therefore not forming a proper layer.
the wax needs to be applied in circular movement and it must be removed just after it forms a hard layer. (there is no rubbing for waxing removal, however u can provide a circular movement to the when applying to provide better penetration.)
yes... cosmic, is very good.... i've used it.... i'm gonna buy it this time as i found turtle wax to form a very har coat which is not easy to remove with hands. but i use machine so its not a issue for me. cosmic is ideal for a hand application.
and turtle, formula and cosmic all are wax... formula 1 carnabua wax is a polish as it also contains a rubbing compound i don't know if they still make it this way as i've used it long time ago.
