Weak Brake in Cultus after change of engine, need expert in Rawalpindi

Dear Brother

I have consulted with the mechanic

He has suggested below things

One first phase

01) On front tires, he said we need to change the Tawa, he said better to change the complete set Tawa/disks

02) On rear tires he said the leathers are weak you should change that one too.

03) He will change the Oil again.

He said, there are 70 to 80 percent chances that brake will work perfectly alright on above things, if not then he said the below things in second phase

01) Change of Serva, plus cylinder !

I think change your mechanic again. A poor disc rotors (taway) will stop the car and needs to be changed if deshaped or worn out to service limit written on the discs itself.

You have already changed the pads, if the quality is good no need to change them again. Again for both front and rear pads there is a minimum service limit.

Proper bleeding the air out of the system is necessary.

You have not shared about the vacuum pipe coming from intake. If that hose is leaking, your booster will not work and thus less braking for a same pedal force.

Dear Gurus,

We have a Cultus Car 2008 model, we have changed the engine in Cultus, its 1500 CC (Suzuki margalla).

Everything is fine but now Car Brake is too weak.

Few mechanics checked that but still problem does not resolved.

Please advise the Brake expert mechanic who is truly expert in brake work in Rawalpindi/Wah/Islamabad Area.

Here is the update

Tariq Mechanic in Mohallah Baboo, Saddar checked the car, he said he need to open the car to check everything, it might take 10 minutes to fix the issue or might take half of the day.

Anyways on 2 persons recommendations, I said to him to fix the issue

He has replaced the below things

01) T-Change which is use to give pressure to all pipes (front 2 and back 2)

02) Front tire Disk changed

03) Back Tire leather disk changed.

04) He has changed the brake oil.

05) In Master Cylinder, he replaced one waaasher

--

I tried the car for 8 to 9 times to check brake is working with all 04 tires. initially it was working with just front 2 tires.

He charged me mazdoori 1800 Rupees

and material cost me around 2800 Rupees.

The brake is working like it should work now.

Thank very much for your help. The mechanic is very expesive and he is experienced. thora chooona to is sy lagaya hai , but I'm still happy that problem is resolved.

point 5 was the real issue.

worn out washer or worn out master cylinder bore lead to loss of compression and braking pressure.

its easy to find the master cylinder repair kit, or the whole master cylinder.. considering your car is recent... only repair kit would do the work..

had same problem with my charade. replaced repair kit, washer and piston of the master cylinder. it gave out soon. replaced master cylinder with used master cylinder of cuore. that gave out after few months.

i took matter into my own hands.. close inspection of original cylinder revealed pitting on cylinder bore. the cylinder was eaten away from inside.

i bought new taiwanese master cylinder and wheel cylinder.

never had any issues again

Sir Jee, CIVIC is expensive and big car , Michelin b liye ja sakty hain. shopkeepers are not recommending Michelin coz they are expensive.
