lets take the old corolla taaron waala aato gear sola wall injun walaa.
it has manual shift quality control (cable to adjust shift agression) tied to the throttle cable.
but it has electronic shift in all forward gears and also has an on/off converter lockup also electronic.
you can manually ride the gearbox in the 4 gears by playing with the solenoid wiring (thats how its actually tested) - If you can make a controller for this then its very easy, but the controller should reset and revert to aatometuck at anything below 40 km/h
anyway - to make sense of it
shift solenoid 1 = s1
shift solenoid 2 = s2
lockup = s3
gear 1 = s1 on s2 off
gear 2 = s1 on s2 on
gear 3 = s1 off s2 on
gear 4 = s1 off s2 off
I coloured them red to indicate power is applied.
