Dear basically both are made by same formula e-g both are formulated from API Group 4. and mainly composed by PAO (polyalphaOlefins)
I would suggest ZIC XQ beacuse
Originally Mobil company pulling its business out from Pakistan
and Askari is taking its main share on the other hand

why are you all criticizing HONDA fully synthetic oil 5W-30 blend by TOTAL. any specific reason ? ? cuz i was thinking of putting it in my civic 08 currently using MObil1

Honda Oil 5W30 blended by TOTAL is good oil but i think its price is too high comparitively with ZIC A+,

AS both are API SM grade oils
but ZIC A+ has extra fuel efficient property too like graded by ILSAC GF-4
Energy saving
above it ZIC A+ has viscosity 5W20
and at the end the price of Honda Total 5w30 is 1990/ 3.7 L avg. 538/L
on the other hand ZIC A+ is 1773/4L avg 443/L
so chose wisely

my normal speed is 50km/h ( driving avg. 6000kms done per year )
0~10km/h 1st gear
10~25 km/h 2nd gear
20~38 km/h 3rd gear
35~60+ km/h 4th gear

Mehran engine has more capcity then you are utilizing it
4000 ~ 4200 engine RPM are the most economical reve of engine
and if you drive you Mehran in 4th gear you can drive it to 75 km/h with out giving any extra stress on engine and engine oil when drive at high RPM it make extra stress upon engine oil which cause quick deterioating to oil , so i suggest you to drive up to 75 ~ 80 km / h on highways
and in city your habit is ok

the conclusion is , i am driving my car in safe manner ( i avoid knocking + excess vibrations cause of lower rpm while shfiting upwards , there i give a bit high raise )

70km/h is enough for me maximum 75km/hon highway and free mainroads

all synthetics (as far as i know) have detergents in them, and according to what i know (personal experience) the only minerals with cleaning agents are Fuchs Super GT and Petromin Ultra7. I think SKZIC will be able to better tell about their oils too.

as for an engine being "De-carbonized",... i'm lost for words.

Please clarify SAE 5W20 means that it is more suited to cold temperature and maintains its viscosity much better upto 20 degree celcius.

SAE 5W30 means that it would maintain its viscosity better upto 30 degree celcius so a 5W30 oil would have bigger operating range and is slightly better suited in hotter conditions.

cosidering above mentioned thing i think we would be able to use ZIC A+ only in winters.

Carbon deposit problem was minimized when leaded fuel baned in pakistan
carbon deposit issure usally arise in Diesel engine not in gasoline / CNG fuel engine normally if you get you vehicle regullarly maintained
Nowadays there are many imported brands have been lounched in Auto market which calim to be best carbon removal system from the engine inside.
Use of these systems are not compulsary in all engines it depends upon the engine condition , cylincer pipe/tail pipe color , exhaust smoke color with petrol , total milage of engine ,driving habits ,fuel quality etc..
and one more important information about the carbon deposit is as
all mineral base oils produce carbon more during normal runing operation
due to minized viscosity Index , and low Flash points as compare to synthetic lubricants
lastly mineral oils are belended with the ratio of 75 : 25 (75% base oil and 25% Additive package) on the other hand only synthetic oils has low additive package persentage which mean that after or between usage of mineral oils there additive burns too and caused to accumulation of carbon
contararaly synthetic oils has less quantity of additives which minimize carbon deposit problem

honestly the 5W30 being offered by honda nowdays is the biggest joke i've ever heard,.. i used to use 5W30 in my car in switzerland!!! i can assure you that hondas "approved oil" is the worst grade of oil you can put in your engine.

Basically Irani Petrol and Oil is sumugled items from Iran's border
mostly sumugled oil are of substandards and low refined
morely some culprits fill reclaimed oils after cleaning it in these drums
and market it as Irani Oils
some time It's use can be lethal particularly in new vehicles

how storm you confirm that honda synthetic oil is inferior, I am using it and changed after 5000 km in my new city, after first time used I feel more smothness in engine (remember I have 2010 model and uptodate 10,000 + km driven). Hoda giving 70,000 km waranty so why they prefer low quality/inferior quality oil.

from practical experience. many people on this forum have also felt that the new oil isn't as good as the old one. it just doesn't feel as good when driving the car,.. also i've met a few people on the "inside" at honda and they have also said that that the new oil isn't as good as the old one.
