What engine oil do you use

^ The oil is pretty good,
The oil in my bike needed a change, I had no oil for the bike at home plus was not in the mood to go out.
I had three packs of this oil in which around 0.6L of oil was still there. (left after oil change in Corolla)
I measured it and replaced the oil in my bike with TMO.
Trust me the shifting in CD 70 became alot smoother.

dear all,, i dunno weather this thread is alive or not,,, but lemme share my experiences i hold Toyota corolla Indus 2000 and used zic a+, zic a, shell (blue one), castrol gtx, mobil 1, but to be honest after turning towards petron i m pretty much satisfied,,,, engine seems silent and acceleration is fine as well, its like 3 times ive changed petron in my car. and believe me it is is fine condition at 5000km,,,,well as per my satisfaction it dosen't seem well to me going beyond 5000km.

but again its what i feel...

theoretically speaking 5W5O mobil1 is the best not only in Pakistan but in the world:)

But practically due to budget i normally use mineral oils;)

20w50 promin ultra 7 (good)

20w50 caltex havoline (good)

Enoc protec (good)

15w 40 Mobil 1000 (awsome)

Any oil is good as long as you drain it on the right time..Just used a semi-synthetic oil and be done with this dumb topic..Just use oil viscosity recommended by manufacturer..If you are not satisfied with any engine oil us COOKING OIL and may our engine rest in peace.

Today by mistake i changed oil and pourred Petromin 20W-50 oil in my Gli 2010 and when i cold started the engine.Smoke Came out of the engine bay like urine is burning till now i am not able to find what happened.After sometime smoke was gone.

Now i am thinking to drain that oil and will use 10W-30.Anybody experienced something like this.

Maybe you got a counterfeit oil..WHat is the recommended viscosity for liana??SHel HX-5 10w40 costs 1985 rupees..Liqui Moly formula super 15w40 costs 450rs/L..LM 10w40 mos2 3300..

I recommend a thicker oil..10w50 or 15w50 as the engine is old.

You don't find reputed oils in semi-synth/synthetic formula in those viscosities here. *w50 oils are available only in normal oils, not synthetic.

LM synthetics are available in mentioned ranged,,They are just not imported..Otherwise whether the oil is dino or synthetic it is good as long as drained in time..
