Once my Dad and Bro, gave lift to a Motorway Police Officer from Bhera to Islamabad Interchange in Dec 2010!

On way conversation started about peoples driving like crazy and then he Narrated that two days ago:

"A Merc was stopped few KMS after leaving Lahore at speed of 240/Km/Hr and it was PATHAN with Peshawar number car and got his first challan of Rs. 750.00.

Then he was again stopped near Bhera and got his Third Challan for the amount of Rs. 1,500.00.

Then again he stopped near Islamabad and got his third challan, for Rs. 3,000.00.

and again stopped just after crossing Islamabad for Rs. 6,000.00 and last near Peshawar for the amount of Rs. 12,000.00.

Total Rs. 750+1500+3000+6000+12000= Total Rs. 23,250.00.

He was alone and when asked why u r overspeeding after so many challans and he simply replied "AAJ HUM MOOD MEIN HAI"

Model of Merc was not asked by ma Dad and he also not specified!

Never been ticketed on the motorway as I usually drive within the speed limit. My highest speed ever was probably in 1998 in my Civic 95. Managed to reach 175kph going downhill in the Potohar section on the way to Lahore. There were 5 people on board and I was literally too scared. Immediately reduced back to 120

I got 7 tickets on my way to Islamabad from Lahore and 6 tickets on my way back to Lahore.

But it wasn't anything like you mentioned. If its less than 160 km/h you get ticket of Rs.750 and if its above 160 km/h its 1500.

I got total 8 tickets of Rs. 750 and 5 tickets of Rs. 1500

Maybe its changed now, as previously they used to stamp the toll card, now they collect money on the spot.

Was my bad day, as I usually overspeed but never get a ticket, don't know what happened that day, It was tuesday and very less traffic, I think I got caught on every single camera that day.

I was short of time, but car is equally responsible for it. Whenever I take my Prius on motorway I feel like speeding as the car is only good for motorway and worst to drive in city due to low ground clearance.

After 2 tickets u get flagged so the next speed camera guy is waiting for you, the only time i dont see any camera is on eid day, witnessed this twice in 2015 and 2016. Thats the best day to overspeed. Fun begin on the salt ranges when the competiting vitz and swift lack in torque and u lose them while climbing. Best scene is when they frantically reach for the ac button to shut it off and gain some engine power back. So i just love the 1.8 toyota engine.

Once was issued ticket on M2 for over speeding. We were in two cars, one car went ahead as I had a puncture. So got late. I was going from ISB to LHR, Existing ISB and immediately went on 140 and kept on going all the way to Pindi Bhatian at 140. Just at Pindi Bhatian, I was stopped and told that i was checked twice before and I am still on 140, was fined Rs. 750. Saved around atleast 45 minutes time but spent 750 on fine.

Got a speeding ticket at 180 km on altis . A swift was trying to race us and kept on coming infront of our car it had some college students of both genders hooting and other stuff.it became annoying at one point so we increased the speed.when we were stopped the officer asked us why we were speeding and we told him.so the poilce man said haar choor yahi bolta hai mein ne chori nahi ke.all of us replied hum choor nahi hai take ur words back .........then he slaped us with 2k fine.

Totally unrelated but I drove on motorway for the 1st time from LHR to ISB. I had heard many stories of strictness of motorway police so I constantly drove in middle lane at speed between 110 and 115.
In salt range I didn't increase speed more than 50km/h

On slopes I lifted foot to maintain speed. I passed at least 5 speed cameras unnoticed by police and got home in about 4.5 hours.

If we start following law we can make our country a better place.

Was fined Rs 1500 in 2008 for speed of 220km/h, it was on M2 from Isloo to Peshawar, Two lanes were blocked for me on the next check point so that i can be safely stopped. Not proud of it though and really thank God when i think about it now, anything could have happened.
