Well the cops seldom do that, but they do! I know that cz my mamun has been in motorway police as SP for four years. I even know at what times where to find the car with the radar trap. lol. 
yaar, to tell you the truth, the cars that are supplied to motorway police are the results of some big and long stories. there is a LOT of corruption in it as well. The cars are very low quality as compared to the usual toyota indus manufacture. Engines might be the same but seriously, body, performance and suspension is only 4/10 if u compare it to a private altis cz I myself have inspected two cars standing side by side.

The chrome lining on the windows, the headlights, the paint, the cheap interior, they are more like mehrans from inside.
The cheese topping is the lack of maintenance and haram khori at workshops. therefore, even driving of 6 months by motorway police is enough to kill the car.
They buy altis A LOT cheaper than we do. They can get normal manufacture GLi or honda city in that price but all depends upon what the officers want to drive.
They want altis, therefore, 4 altises are delivered as normal manufacture with usual body colour while rest are NH&MP standard deliveries.
