It varies depending upon how set the indiviual is. but at the same time i am not in favour of delibrately making it late waiting until the time u earn 2 lac per month....but until that happens u might have lost some precious yrs of ur young age

The only thing to remember is that get married only when you're able to afford the basic necessities of your spouse and kids because thats what Islam has made compulsory on men. Once you start earning there is no need to delay (be it in 16 or 26 or 36).

But if we still need some benchmark then we should look at what our Holy Prophet PBUH did. He got married when he was 25 years old.

For guys : Mentally & physically mature + resources to adequately support a family.

For gals : Mentally & physically mature.

In old times, boys were used to get married at the age of 16-17 and all the burden was on the parents of the boy due to the combine family system. Also if children are involved in sinful acts due to late marriage, the gunah goes to his/her parents (adna si knoledge ke mutabik). This was a good culture, since if parents decide to take this responsibility one daughter in law won't be a burden on them. In Today's era the situation is very different, if a guy is married the expensive of his wife reaches more than what it would be for a single person addition. They go for honeymoon, some go for umrah, then hang around for few years, then they go shopping, buy gold/diamond jewelery etc. So the purpose of marriage has totally changed in this era. Girls are not willing to life with the in laws, so you have to be stable enough to live independently and bear the expenses of a new family.
I would say best time is to get married soon after you feel like you should and for kids, yes at least 1-2 years before you get a child.

well according to me the right age to get married is 25..... by doing this u not only marry but also complete the sunnah of HOLY PROPHET (SAW)...... the age difference between a girl and a boy must more than 3 to 4 year and till 6 to 7 years...

If you want to follow SUNNAH then you have to get married at 25 according to Islamic calender, other wise it works out to be 24 if you look at it according to Christian Calender
