Clutch work at last point when pedal release.

Even there is little climb you need great force from engine to move.

bhai mujh se poocho meine abhi abhi ye dono cheezein replace kee hain .... lol

cisco is right ..... clutch is mostly at the end and during a climb you feel like there is someone pulling the vehicle from back ..... after I replaced mine, now the vehicle crawls on its own without any need of acceleration during anabasis ...... but again engine power and other matters also contribute.

the engine roars but car doesn't accelerates accordingly, slow to pick up speed, lacks the power while going uphill etc!! You dont feel power under your feel, no matter how hard you are pressing the gas pedal!!

car vibrates while releasing clutch (pressure plate problem)

i do quick simple check for clutch plate, rev the car a bit in first gear and try do a little wheel spin.(if it fails to wheel spin, clutch plate is weak or about to go)

just tested on petrol n CNG . its working great on petrol, give a good spin in drag but on cng it does not run above 110 - 115 km on highways like it used to do and after words gives wared smell like clutch plate

you dont have clutch problems - you have lack of power problems.

yea, after drivng in rainy season. without care, clutch goes.

thats why there was lot of discussion to go dead slow in flood and try to avoid clutch riding

yesterday at night i checked my newly installed timing belt.

i was one point retarded.

Is it possible that the car is showing these symptoms due to this factor?

If your car vibrates up on the initial movement in first gear then its pressure plates are weak ... and in case of weak clutch plate the engine will make more noise when you rev it and you feel that the car is not catching speed and it will start consuming more fuel...

The vibration being described is technically referred to as "chattering" in auto jargon. Although this is a sign of a worn out clutch, it doesn't necessarily mean the clutch is slipping. To test if your clutch is slipping, put the transmission in 4th gear at a low speed and fully depress the accelerator pedal. If there is slippage, engine RPMs should surge, sounding sort of like a car with an auto transmission. In normal operation, engine RPMs should rise gradually as the car's speed increases. Hope that helps.

sorry to spoil the thread as you all are manual suzuki users i wana ask i am facing weird issue with my alto 2011 40k driven gear box.

whenever i shift the gear to 1st from N it gets stuck a little (No sounds or grinding sound).

whenb the car is cold the gear shift from N to 1st is very smooth but when car gets warm the gear shift to 1st from N gear hard, but on moving car when i slow down the speed and shift gear from 3rd to 2nd OR from 2nd to 1st it GETS REALLY HARD to put it.

Any suggestions please? i changed Gear oil last month. poured in ZIC FF 75W85.

NOTE: i have been told there is rubber GEAR KIT under the car that is causing this, if i get that rubber underneath the car changed it will get perfect again.

I have also been told that its the pressure plate considering the car has only been driven 40k in 4 years, is there any way to diagnose a weak/faulty PRESURE PLATE or perhaps Clutch plate?
