This joker put down a 4-month warranty on paper, but when I called him again, he was making goofy excuses, pointing to the expansion valve which was all taped up - he undid the taping and poured surf on top of the metallic part and said "look the metal part is leaking, change this part or alternatively, i can make your AC 'direct' without this component.
He was shoving BS down my throat and was a total retard, so I asked him to fill up the gas, which he took nearly 30 mins to do, making excuses again. So I told him to leave, as clearly, he was trying to make things worse than when i started.
As for Haier, there's no response on the official email and this one time i got connected to their UAN number but the rep said "technician will come have a look after the lockdown ends"... !
Basit, thanks for the feedback but let me ask you something: when was the last time you were able to find a reliable AC tech who did the job properly and got your AC to work for another year or two without any further issues?
Where can I find these? Nearly all of the ones I dealt with tried to milk money out of me and the issue is unresolved. Next step?
@babaralinawab - Previous two guys who came said issue is in indoor. Got it fixed - got billed twice and the issue is still there. Third guy came recently, said the issue is still the indoor. Fixed it, and it barely lasted 3 days. He came again, and started telling me a "story" about how the leak is somewhere around (what I know to be the expansion valve) but he was referring to it by another name, saying that it communicates with the card in regards to gas pressures. Uhh.. what?! So he kept insisting that the fault was with the outer.
Now, fourth guy came and he said NOTHING is wrong with the condenser and leak is still inside the evap coil.
I talked to an electronic reseller and distributor as well - he said, once these inverter's leak, and that they typically do after a year or two, nothing can be done and that I need to replace the coil completely rather than getting it fixed again and again.
Is there anyone at all that I can trust? An engineer or a qualified technician who will just do the job properly in ONE GO and then I can enjoy my AC for maybe another year or two?
How about you guys? Are you satisfied with your AC techs? Did your AC worked normally for at least a year or so after repairs were done???
Seems like I'm on a streak of some kind where I just keep spending cash and come back to the same position where I started.
The dishonest people you have to put up with here....
