How much did you get it for? Check for International prices and compare with what you paid for it. Edifice have copies now?

it was a gift don't know about price don't know if it got copies either.
It looks good so price doesn't matter and yes its quite heavy in weight

Checked thoroughly its Casio AMW-701 Hunting Timer.

The one i have has chain not belt .

Looks very nice.

G shock is good but other than sports activities or hunting doesnt suit at all and give casual looks . Its like wearing joggers with closed collars and tie.

It is designed for casual/sports activities and not something for a formal gathering so I guess having one g shock if you own multiple watches isn't bad.

I'm a big fan of Casio, be it their G shock, Edifice or Pro Trek. These are very good looking, well built and tough watches. Did I mention very good looking

Check Casio beside series as well. It is inexpensive and looks as good if not better. My brother owns one and I love its looks.

I've not bought or regularly wear a wrist watch for a long time now, not coz I've no interest in watches, but just coz I hate to wear cheap and/or replicas and the original mechanical swiss watches that I like are beyond my means. I occassionally wear my dad's Omega Geneve 1968 and yess even after 46 yrs, its working perfect. Omega's Seamaster is something I would love to own one day.

That is a vintage watch and probably worth a lot more than you think.

Not an awesome brand or design.
I bought this for 60 pounds 2 years ago from a Duty-free shop.
Now, I just use my phone to check the time and gifted the watch to my friend:)

As I said earlier, check casio 'beside' as well before you go for a g-shock of edifice.

Most of these watches as you can see have dead cells and are not giving the correct time as i dont wear them just like to keep them safe a few have been TAKEN by my cuzins but these are my favourite thanku

This is a beautiful collection. This collection is its own downfall I guess as its too noticeable and someone will eventually ask for one. It hurts when someone doesn't take care of a watch, or anything for that matter that you lend out. I think I will consult you before I go buy a new watch for me.
