There's always some kinda car in any of the malls during weekends in Chennai. The new X1 was on display at the mall i frequent most 'cause it's nearest to my home. And the X1 is now available for RS22lacs OTR, ex-Chennai.

India is a poor country , right?. I'm driving an American friend from Chennai Intl. airport into town and his first comment was " It looks just like New Jersey!" and sounded disappointed.Well,it ain't that bad :S

Didn't i tell ya that Injuns will prop up Jag/LR 'cause it's now owned by them. Ye scoffed. Now what?

The hue of blue on that X1 is to die for. The Express Avenue mall that you take a lot of pics in, looks massive. I'm not that big a fan of the shopping mall, but it'd be nice to have the space for such ginormous commercial projects in the island city.

Control yourself and ye have to just a while longer till the new Swift shows up in the showrooms after which i shall cease posting over here save for the Indian F1 GP report if i get tickets and the 2012 New Delhi Auto Show early next year.

All malls in Chennai have ample parking space. This one is nearest home and there's 'Big Bazaar' where i stock up on groceries for the week. And, there's always cars at any given time to ogle at which beats trying to take pics while driving.

By the way, spotted this wreck at my TATA Motors service station yard while my Nano was getting serviced. A container fell on it and i think it help up pretty good, don't you think?. And, driver sustained minor injuries. So, not bad for the 'lowly' Indica, eh?.

Yeah, all-new Swift will be formally launched Aug 17th in the national capital and it is the FIA F1 GP , the Indian circuit. Below is a pic of one of the stands , circa July 31st-2011. Inspections are going on now to clear paperwork for last minute preps before the formal opening of the track. The track is situated in the National Capital Region (NCR) approx. 35km one way from New Delhi.
