2012 Nissan(India) Micra XV

I drove by the new Nissan showroom in my neighborhood and espied this lime green Micra and decided to check it out. This color is new for the 2012 model year and the XV model is loaded to the gills with features including the "Start/Stop" button> No keys, just the remote lock case in this car. Price for the petrol version averages RS5.5 lacs fully loaded/on the road ex-Chennai and the diesel is pricey at almost Rs1 lac more!. This color is coded as "Spring Green" in the Nissan(India) Micra website.

The new Nissan(India) Sunny sedan will be in this showroom on Sep20 and i shall bring you my report.

2012 Toyota(India) Liva

I was invited for the launch of the diesel engined versions of Toyota(India) Etios sedan and Liva hatchback at one of the Toyota dealerships today and i decided to check out the cars on the way to work. So you will see a bit of Indian Toyotas in this page.The car in this post is the petrol version.

I haven't posted showroom pics of the Etios range so i thought i'll take pics of the cars. The previous pics of these cars are from a mall display.

2012 Toyota(India) Etios sedan and Liva hatchback D4D Diesel engine versions.

Toyota has adapted D4D tech for the smaller capacity engines and they sound smooth even with the hood up.

The only Corolla verison i like which is the D4D , including the styling. The Altis has chrome accents on the grille and some posh fittings but still bleh for me.
