Hyundai's 'fluidic' designs are awesome. Next up in this market is the Elantra which looks way cooler than the Verna.

Chennai got a brand new 458 Italia past weekend as reported in team-bhp(with pics) and on FB. I hope i spot it sometime.

So many Audis here but i've never been able to click the new A6 on the road. I hope to soon as that's the car i really like in the lineup.

The sticker on this SLK intrigued me but there wasn't anyone around to ask.

Biggest surprise of this season is the popularity of the new Sunny.

Still my favorite compact car in the Indian market, the TATA Indigo CS available fully loaded at Approx. 4.5lacs with petrol and diesel engines on offer.

This car is a slightly upmarket version of the VW Vento. The side panels and doors are borrowed from the Vento though the front and rear have been redesigned. Prices range from RS7.5lacs to RS9,5lacs from the petrol to the diesel versions on-road ex-Chennai.The Rapid is another step in VW's inroads into the Indian auto market aimed at the all important middle class buyer. A test drive and review to follow.The petrol engine is a 1.6liter with 105bhp.

Another thunderstorm last night downing power lines and cables and more rain right now. It will take a month before Chennai gets back to normal again.

A 2-door G-Wagon and how cool is that?. Pity all i could photo is the rear. I did spot a blue new Swift today and i've erased that color choice. I'm still waiting to see a red car before i close on silver.

I'll try and take better pics of the interior. And, the best color for this car is red as BW mentioned. There's adequate space for both passengers and luggage, good ergonomics and quality material. I would have preferred a lighter interior, though. I'm in love with this car.

The 1st lot of Evoques for India is sold out already. The FreeLander is available off the shelf as it is assembled in India and TATA Motors plans to assemble the Evoque in India too.

It rained heavily again overnight and everywhere is damp and gloomy. If i owned a brand new 458 i wouldn't be taking it on the road anytime soon. Anyways, i hope to spot the car this weekend. 'Twill be fun.

Pearl White would be my color choice for the car below.

Today was a superb day. No rain and gloom, the sun was shining, the air cool and crisp, people lolling and i had to work for a few hours!. On the way back i did stop at a mall for some refreshments and saw the Eon on display. Sales have crossed the 10,000 mark this November for this model and this is Hyundai's way of socking it to the Alto.

Thanks BeeDubya. The Ranger will set you back RS6.50lacs ex-Chennai. Pricey 'cause it's imported but once you hear the engine growl it's easy to get converted and plan on selling the family silver to own this beast. Even though it's LHD( sort of. the steering's more in the middle) , the car has got ARAI homologation and can be registered at the RTO. Coolio.

I must have some kind off karmic connection with the new BMW X3 or it is just popular among car buyers in Chennai, 'cause i keep spotting one wherever i go on my usual rounds. A wheel lock gave me the opportunity to check out the interior.
