Brother, I swapped my ex EG with a "stock" B20, with an S4C, basic I/E upgrades and tune. It made 160ish to the wheels, considering a stock B20 has a 145bhp output.
Any power between 160-180 is good enough for a light chassis as the EG. Go above that, and you would need really good tires, an LSD and a good clutch for traction and torque control.
My advise would be to get a K20, even if it's the 160 bhp K20A, mate to a manual transmission, a good clutch, even on stock ecu you would be all set! Upgrade the motor as you go..
