Where to get this electronic component from?

I need this dial potentiometer for my headphones.

It says B100Ω on the back. Dial has 18 gears, approx. 16mm diameter, 5-pins+2 anchoring pins.

Does anyone know where I can find such a component? Can anyone who has access to such stuff procure on my behalf?

I checked at electronics components shops on college road (raja bazaar) but they didn't have it. Online I cant find it. They have dial pots but 1k, 10k, 50k etc; none of this B100 type.

Kinda running out of ideas here...

Here are all the variable resistors I could find for 100 ohm. I don't know if you've ever used their service before. I'm from lahore and the cash on delivery worked great (have ordered a whole bunch of stuff from them). They're located in ISL I think, so you could probably collect from their shop yourself.

Okay it turns out that what you have is a stereo 5 pin potentiometer with common ground.

You can replace that with two 2/3 pin potentiometers. Except now you will struggle to keep the volume balance. You will have to sacrifice the headphones volume changing capability. Set both trimmers to exact resistance using a meter and then install it in and never change it.

Also, you could get it from another headphone....

Yes these are on-ear headphones, with separate drivers for lows and highs.
If I were to turn this into some sort of fixed thing, then shouldn't I go with separate resistors of a fixed value? Or should I just connect the terminals with each other, no resistance in between?

The fixed value resistors have varying values. They have tolerances. And you need very very low tolerance which may be hard to find. With a variable resistor, you can fine tune the resistance so it is exactly the same.

And yeah, just cut out that volume control part and throw it away. And just connect all the wires back again. That's what I usually do.

But in your case I don't know if the full volume setting is 0 resistance or a certain value. And if it's a certain value , then making it lesser than that might damage the speakers or something.

They always make the volume control so low quality...

Also, you mentioned separate drivers for lows and highs. The circuitry for all of that should probably be inside the headphones close to the speaker or built in to it.

This is a volume control for the bass level. I think it only controls the volume on the larger speaker that runs the bass.
The circuitry you see, two resistors and a duplex pot are the only components that're on here.

Would it be a good idea to measure resistance on the stubs of the pot using a DMM, while its volume is set to full?

You don't really own it do you ? Did you find it in the garbage or something ? You should know which knob does what....

I do own it. No it wasn't found from garbage, nor from 'something'. There is only one knob on it and its a knob to control bass level, not an overall volume knob. Its a dual-driver design, something I haven't been able to find in any other affordable pair of headphones. And I'm using modified earpads for added comfort during prolonged use.

So yes, they're mine. I own them. Not from garbage. Mine. Mine. Mine alone. MINE! :0
