If you don't have the desired budget i would suggest you to wait for some time and go for Sony once you have desired budget. You'll love the Sony quality.

All tv's are fine even a cheap tv works fine but they are not reliable, iam looking for a tv of major brands.

I know sony is best but in certain situations u have to compromise & there is always a second choice available that is not as good but it's quite close to the best. In that case u said that u rate sony 1 & lg & samsung 2nd & 3rd respectively. So should i consider it as a suggestion that LG's quality is better than samsung & it can be considered as second choice apart from sony?

Sony is expensive than samsung but no doubt sony is ahead of samsung in many things. I have used all of led/lcd from major brands of sony samsung lg panasonic. And found sony's picture quality to be natural not overexposed and increased contrast and brightness which is a prominent feature of Samsung. LG also has a very good balanced picture. If you like glowing and bright picture than go for samsung.

You are right bro i noticed it in the showroom that samsung brightness & contrast was very high but at times picture is over exposed but just brightness is not enough. There are other factors like sharpness & colour accuracy which make picture perfect. No doubt in that case sony is the king

Hi,

I dont want to start a new thread for old topic...

I want to buy UHD 50" LED TV.

I have shortlisted CHANGHONG RUBA, ORIENT, ECOSTAR.

I went to metro they said Ruba is giving 2 year replacement warranty while ORIENT is only giving 1 year frame warranty. Dont know about ecostar but it falls in my budget.

Any reasonable suggestion?

And what on earth will you do with a 4 k to ? There is hardly one channel that is 4K in Pakistan and that will also get banned by Pemra . Why not buy a better brand like Sony and Samsung rather then buying Chinese junk ?

Reluctantly bought TCL 55 inches 4k last month and amazed by its quality since. Did hell lot of research and finally settled for tcl. Had a sony in the house and imho sony is overpriced. Bought anorher 50 inches 4k tcl for second home and same wonderful experience at not so sky high price. Totally recommend it. Also the market is boiling with fake leds. Only buy from metro, hyperstar etc not from some xyz electronics because i went up to them and asked them if they were original and guess what whole multan has fake leds. They just say "Sir original ni atey"
Had to transfer one from lahore.
