I shared about AGS battery performance they are best performing automotive batteries these days compare to any other brand.

few years back if we ask the price of 100 ampere wali battery, then prices were like this

Exide 7800
Osaka 7600
AGS 8200

And similarly, in other batteries the AGS was most of the time 100-300 rupay expensive than others. And also their weight was slightly more than others too. Similarly when re-selling old AGS batteries, they fetch 100-200 more than other brands.

At home UPS, I used Exide battery of 200 amperes each and they last good for 4 years. After 4 years I charged them from outside, check the gravity, acid, etc. and they went good for another 1 year.

Next time I tried AGS. Their available battery was 175 ampers and they went good for 4.5 years too.

Life of the batteries heavily depends on the device you attached to it, like UPS, Alternator, etc.

Now I heard they have introduced lithium dry battery which is just half in weight of regular batteries. And performance wise they are good as well.
You see technology keeps changing.

Watch his most recent video which is around 45-50 minutes where he prepared the car for a family of solider who lost his life in battle at foreign fields. And chrisfix gifted a car to the family.

He has explained a bit about lithium batteries in his video and also he had weighing scale where he put old lithium battery & it was 30 pounds. And new technology lithium battery weight was only 15 pounds. It was exactly half in weight but had same power/capacity.

I guess you should get marry so that your point of view also change for looking at world’s dynamics. Don’t be obsessed with forums or try to run the world as per your own point of view. Get marry, spend time with your spouse and enjoy summer travels

I work with lithium ion batteries, porsche, bentley and RR has had them for years now.

They are not hot swappable, meaning if you take a cayenne with a lithium pack battery (usd 1900 cost) and try to replace it with a plain or AGM (250 usd cost) because you cannot afford it, it wont work as the battery charging voltage, amps and decay life timer is completely different than any lead acid unit.

I understand that you love to use youtube as a “guide” but dont fall for it hook line and sinker! It can get very expensive very quickly. Do your own due diligence first before vouching for it. Chrisfix is in business of making youtube videos, not in business of auto repair,

There are lots of videos out there showing absolute asinine procedures for repairs (we in this trade literally laugh at those) - some jackwagons show how to replace the rear main seal on old I6 bmws and when it still leaks - they claim, bmws leak oil forever

While completely overlooking the fact that they never cleaned the oil seal carrier bolt threads and never bothered with thread sealer. 🤣

Such info isnt needed from a book for us in this industry but just a simple thin straw etc, if the hole isnt blind, it needs thread sealant or it will wick and leak. For us its basic common sense. Too bad youtube university doesnt teach that to “youtubers”
