Corolla also had multi flow in ae101 models or ae110 models i had seen some of them in scrap yards. But the local manufactured corolla started to come with MF from 2002 onwards.

Never Seen One Personally ..However custom Installed MF Condensers Can Be Done For Better Results

Local Manufactured Baleno came with serpentine condensers, which are not bad...

in 2012/13 scrap yard was filled with Baleno body and other parts, at that time i managed to get a MF condenser with FAN from the front nose cut in 1800, it has pipes cut and pent so not much contaminated...

replaced it with serpentine in Baleno1.6Gti...after proper vacuum testing for leaks and gas charging by weight...

it showed improvement...like...in night time, compressor was tripping more often and in peak summer time it cooled the compartment quicker...however overall cooling was same as serpentine one...

working till date...i rarely use that car..

i am pretty sure that it shud be available for indus shape aswell....caz i know both cars have exactly same AC unit installed...so you can also try Baleno one as well..

Went to Abu Bakr yesterday. Yes he fixed it. Same condenser. It was expansion valve that was cheap Chinese stuff. He opened all the dashboard and fixed everything. Changed the blower. And now it's really powerful. And very cold AC. Yes Abu Bakr worked the best! Never seen anyone work with so much dedication. Ok now I will not sell this car. It's really blowing ice now!

Ok so AC is working fine now. Let's come to another topic. I know it's been discussed before but I just need a clear advice.

4AFE is an underpowered engine with A/T for a car heavy car like Corona. I called motor maniacs and they suggested 2 engines; 4EFTE & 3SGE (1st Gen as newer ones have some sensor issue he said that causes starting trouble). One thing I need is only A/T. I think 7AFE would also be good.

So which one is best for reliability, performance & parts availability?

Well I personally like 7afe the one with coils and ECT. Easy to wire and maintain. It will be very hard to find a clean 4efte and 20v they mostly come abused in kabar.

You may find a clean 7afe on IJP road.

7AFE If you want upgrade but basic overhaul is needed unless you get extreme lucky and find one in mint condition..

usually they need rings/seals/valve seals replacement along with basic stuff checked before going in and they serve you well else you face oil consumption issues and leaking issues after some time

I have seen some very clean engines in the area I mentioned. If he can get newer gen 7AFE the one with coils they dont have this oil burning issues

I saw many 7AFE's in Madni Market in Saddar. Looked clean. Asking 65k with my engine. A/T will remain the same. But I need to know how much power gain as numbers are not that impressive... This video shows it in only 8 sec 0~100 km/h acceleration! But it's manual; still it should be pretty fast in A/T...

If true the I can outrun any 1.6 even 1.8 local cars...

Dont buy 7AFE distributor one. It has oil burning issues.

Auto Will be slower and I dun think you can out run modern 1.8 cars but yes 1.3 and might be able to give tough time to 1.6.

I had 7afe in a Manual and in Manual it pretty quick. 3SGE got more power or 4EFTE if you are able to find a clean unit.

20-30% better acc. than 4afe but it got plenty of low end torque... its all there for you at 2800rpm...

in daily drivers acc won't count more than torque..

if you are more keen on making it faster and better ..other than bolt-on setups might be your interest like 1zz-fe from later model altis

Here's the 0-100 km acceleration. All are A/T. I got this from Pakwheels (Sunil Manjh). I believe 7AFE can beat all of these even in A/T (except land cruiser )
