Torque curve favors grande 1.8 but power to weight ratio favors city 1.5. Grande has the edge of transmission against civic so it might be 1 sec faster in 0-100 but eventually civic will outrun it. Honda engines are hands down better than toyota.

Honda engines are excellent..no doubt . M just saying engine alone is nothing so we have to consider the whole car.. its my POV..could be wrong
