Okay here is goes:

1.Chery QQ: Not recommended at all
2. Vitz: The best in category, way ahead of others on all respects, specially w.r.t to your point regarding brakes, but will have to install CNG so will be expensive.

1. Joy: Okay but comparitively less room and low resale
2. Alto VXR: THe only plus point is resale, rest all, its the worst car (brakes handling quality pick and AC, all rubbish comparitively)

You have left out Santro, its okay choice with factory CNG, but brakes sucks. Ac is good

My recommendations:

Vitz, of you can afford and get the CNG installed properly, its the best choice, and parts arte available now, no problems

                      OR

Santro, Its better than others overall (except Vitz of course) go for FF CNG, Ac is also good, but brakes are not good

if you talk about AC and pick then go for charade, specially mine it has a really chilled AC and even on AC pick is excellent, I can challenge anyone here for the pick of my charade with AC.............plus it is in a very cool condition, see pics posted under 'buyer/seller' forum.

i think santro ac is best...but it has rubbish leg space and driving position...after driving for 15 minutes..different parts of ur body start to complain...........i havs sit in this car many times..and without any joke if someone gives me his santro for rs 50,000...i will not take it......i rather buy a mototcycle .

I Agree with usmanansari, Joy and QQ have great ACs, Joy's cools quicker, QQ's takes a little while but also chills.

Go for Chery QQ....I sometimes wonder why most guys giving advice don't stick to the cars with which they have had their own experiance. (Like Deloy outrightly rejected Chery).
Based on my 10 months experiance and having driven it for 12000 km on all types of roads on CNG, I feel it is still the best value for money. Good suspension, wonderful pick (even on CNG) and comfort. I'll rate its AC at par with civic (which is the other car I own).... and that I am saying having driven it at 45+ degrees during summer.
Regarding the sore point of durability (that most have regarding this car...as it being a Chinese product), if it has not given me a single problem in 10 months with over 12000 km, what else would I expect in terms of being durable and reliable.

don't know about the Chevrolet - Joy... but i have Chevrolet - Exclusive and A/C, CNG every thing works very well. got a nice pick and top speed on CNG with A/C... Appx 135 KM/H on CNG with A/C... Its a good car....

Chinese are way behind the world in metallurgy, Chery QQ looks nice and is a fun car to drive, but in the longer run might face problems (it is very new here), besides there have been reports of engine components failing (due bad fabrication of engine) at extreme conditions, so its not recommended. Let it prove itself, first
