Hello hello hello! I finally managed to upgrade my phone to 6.1.1.b.1.54 version. Many things have gone really cool. Just one thing is that except for the icons and theme, everything has gone black and white like the WhatsApp message icon in the display bar, my SMS inbox, etc. How can I change that? Also, the option to take a screenshot used to come up whenever the power button was pressed but now no more. Neither does the power + volume combo work. FINALLY, I discovered another button, yes, after exactly one month of ownership, on the other side of the volume button. What is that for? Nothing changes when that is pressed.

Do tell how I can change the color back to the way it was.

Also, the point ov this extra button I've found.

I can't select text or take a snapshot like before.

Man! You are so helpful. In Toyota Belta Club, Murtaza_Murti is too. Guess it's some power in the name.

Screenshot method has finally worked. Osama kept telling yesterday to do the same but nothing happened.

The color thing m saying is that earlier, the sms inbox was not black, grey and white but now it is. Similarly, the toolbar at the top which displays everything also shows icons in gray and white only.

Look at the picture below. The WhatsApp icon has turned gray:

And so has the other stuff.

Murtaza, where have you disappeared? I've been told my phone is in a better state now and yes, I haven't had to restart it in the past twenty four hours; it doesn't hang anymore like it used to.

Atleast get Windows 8 phone, you can easily get Lumia 520 by selling you Xperia U with very little amount on top.

At least I'm not impressed, I say all 3 brands are good... It's just that Sony has better deals and it's cheaper. But htc or Samsung arent any miracles...

Compare any Sony vs any htc or Samsung in any price slab and Ud realise how htc tries to sell phones priced over 30ks with just 786mb ram... Infact 786 ram shosha is only present in htc.

Whereas Sony offers 1gig ram from 23ks... + Sony tag & quality...

Here I must add... Did u get ur phones from a reliable source or have been dupped with a used/flawed phone?

+1 and Sony is best all the way I used Sony Ericsson to Sony from 2005 to 2012 ,simple phone to walkman and cybershot.

Bro I also used Sony phones for 5 years. Recently I decided to buy a new phone with option of either S4, xperia z and HTC One. I chose the one because of its better specs, looks and screen quality. Xperia Z's screen looks a bit washed out and also the software is a bit boring as Sony doesn't customize android that much. S4 is all plastic. For the last six months HTC One is the best phone in the market as claimed by critics as well.

HTC one is the amongst the most expensive phones in the market too, so are its specs.
Sony's top end phone is quite cheaper the HTC one.

Whenever I insert some USIM (Sim Card) it shows, ''No Service/Emergency Calls Only''. Got an International software done on it but still it didn't help out. Some suggested to get its baseband rom flashed but as I'm just a beginner and a kid so don't know how to do that. Googled a lot but still couldn't find any solution. Went to Singapore plaza (Saddar, Rawalpindi) and asked number of the shop keepers but they couldn't help me out. Actually, I've already heard that there's some solution so that's why asking all the experts to help me out. I don't think so that there'd be some problem with hardware. Really getting frustrated as I'm not able to make a call, neither able to text someone. Help, please? Anyone?

Sony Xperia Z is cheaper because it was launched earlier and has the older Qualcomm S4 Cpu as compared to the S6 in HTC one and S4. HTC one is expensive but it has a full aluminium body. No doubt xperia z is a good phone but HTC one is better in almost all aspects..
