but please remember, racing is not just about high speeds only in a straight drag. a car should be able to go fast and mantain its grip even on tight corners.

cars such as the lancer evo are meant for that.

you will have to do serious modifications on civc to make it a nice sporty car. dont just go for drag speeds!

my vote goes to baleno 1.6 gti its a good car and its not very costly plus the chasis is good for racing and for all the people who say baleno is a family car look at civic city and corolla they are family cars too
