Hmmm from what i found out that international warranty is more expensive for HP because they give u the card and the "khaipeyee(the term for smugglers)" cant get the margin they want coz of it.
Quite honestly sach baat toh ye hai ke unless its an old trust worthy friend of yours whose dealing in new laptops....nobody is going to be honest about you regarding the Laptop they are selling you. And thats one conclusion i have reached. And its an unfortunate one.
While doing khwaari for buying this laptop, a couple of inconvenient truths about our nation got exposed to me first hand and the foremost was.......nobodys honest in their dealings regardless what they might project themselves from the outside. From clean shaven dress pant & shirt wearing dealers of blue area to the turban wearing mullahs of Pindi Saddar. Nobody is honest.
It all boils down to ur luck at the end of the day. They might even say that they dont even deal in refurbished laptops, yet might try to sell you one if they find out u dont have much knowledge about laptops (like in my case).
Lambee baat kar di.....best option for u. Check the main two or three websites.....but mainly focus on researching the market.
Mostly these websites arnt even updated. Mega.pk shows probook G3 as having backlit keyboard yet it doesnt have one. Talked to their guy and he said "woh larkay ne ghalat likha dia hoga"
