Original tire prices are skyrocketing nowadays, but if you can afford them, I suggest you get Continental ComfortContact6 (CC6). I find it better than its competitors.

PKDM meaned ? Pakistan Domestic Manufacture ? Exactly which parts (excluding tires) of Honda, Toyota and Suzuki are made in Pakistan ? They are just assembled. The only part they manufacture locally is tires and that also not of imported tire quality, so they pushed to use local tires and save cost of imported ones.

I don't know about Lahore, but plenty of authorized dealers of different tire brands exist in Islamabad.
For example, Tyre Point in G-10/1 Islamabad, I think they do have a branch in Lahore as well.

so here is my personal experience after using both in Corolla 2018 and Cultus 2018.

1. Chinese tyres are soft and offer better Grip.
2. Chinese tyres reduce Cabin Nose significantly which can be irritating in Corolla.
3. General offers a slightly better life compared to Chinese and their warranty is easy to claim. I had to change General after 45000 KM and Chinese after 40,000 KM.
4. Chinese tires are 2-3% more expensive.

If you have a bigger car with Good noise insulation, I would recommend Chinese tyres as they are very quiet and offer a far superior Grip. Whatever you buy, please buy it from a reputable Shop as I was given a Phattan-made repaired tire once which also comes in great packing.

what's the definition of Performance from a tyre.... the only problem people have with general is noise, and it techincally is not counted under performance i beleive

Buy Chinese tires instead of General.
In my experience anything made by general is subpar quality and Chinese are better when shopping for low budget tires.
General get Extremely hard and noisy after 20k kms, they have literally no grip and wobble at high speeds. You cannot Balance them 100%. Comfort naam ki chez bhool jayen.

If you are using your car for uber careem or inter city taxi only then buy general tires because they dont puncture easily and have good treadwear.

My experience with Minerva tires has been excellent.
